Optical cable used in the field of telecommunications

Optical cable today is widely used in the field of telecommunications. Optical in comparison with copper has many advantages, but its use is complicated by many problems, the main of which is the method of cable laying. The most widespread currently is the hanging method. Laying a fiber-optic cable over the air is the simplest method of organizing transmission communications. An important role in laying communication lines is played by the fastening of an optical cable. It is manufactured according to wiring diagrams to avoid the risk of fiber damage. Much attention is paid to the accuracy and accuracy of installation. When fastening, the cable must not be stretched, bent, struck; during installation, it must not be subjected to tension and sagging, or to low temperatures. Such actions lead to failures, which affects the transfer of data. Support and tension clamps are used to fasten the cable. When installed on metal, reinforced concrete, wooden supports, the tension force is regulated by cable tension clamps, which take into account the specifics of the installation site and the type of cable. Fasteners by design have a different look, made of a variety of materials. If the clamp is not universal, then it has a certain diameter. The tensioning method is based on the use of spiral and anchor clamps. For rigid fastening of the cable, anchor clamps are used, which are used at the end sections of the installation, branches, turns, along the entire route. These clamps make it possible to quickly and easily fasten the cable to supports with glass rods, wire or a supporting steel cable. Clamps with wedges, as well as universal ones, are presented on our website.
A great example is anchoring tension clamp H28 which is made of durable plastic and stainless steel. It is designed for fastening type "8" cables. The spans are 120 meters long and can withstand up to 2 kN.

Installation method
Clamps are installed without preliminary preparation of the removed supporting cable (cable cutting and insulation cleaning are not required):

- Hang the clamp on the post by passing the free end of the hinge through the hole in the bracket.

- Place the wedges of the clamp on the cable carrying cable. There is no need to separate the cable from the cable or strip the insulation.

- Slide the wedges towards the narrowing of the tapered groove to allow the teeth to enter the cable sheath.

- In the process of pulling the cable, the teeth cut through the insulation and the wedges are clamped directly on the steel cable.
